We asked Austin what he wanted to be for Halloween and he said Thomas, so I looked for a Thomas costume and wasn't too thrilled with any of them, plus they were EXPENSIVE! Anyway, we decided to get creative and make one out of a box that we covered with vinyl. Boy, has it been a hit! He has won 2 costume contests!! He loves to wear it and we cannot get Alex out of his dragon costume. He walks around the house roaring! Funny, funny boys!!
We went to the pumpkin patch and picked out pumpkins! Now we just need to carve them! It was a little cold, but we had fun! Austin had a hard time deciding which pumpkin to take home! Alex LOVED the hay ride because a big tractor was pulling us! That was very exciting!
We celebrated Austin's birthday twice this year! We unexpectedly went to Washington over his birthday, so he was able to have a big party with Grandpas and Grandmas, Aunts and Uncles, and cousins! He had so much fun! Then, when we got back home, we celebrated with Dad and all of his friends! He was so excited about his Thomas birthday!
On Saturday we went to the Cincinnati Zoo for Hallzooween! They have all kinds of Halloween stuff to do for the kids as well as Austin's favorite...Trick or Treating! We could not get him to let go of his Spider candy bucket! We had lots of fun!
